KOP MED Updated COVID19 Safety Policy &Visiting Guidelines
To help maintain a healthy environment, we are requiring all patients and visitors to wear a face covering or mask at ALL times. We ask that you bring your own face covering or mask to wear; however, if you do not have one we will provide one. In addition to covering your face; you should also practice social distancing and try to restrict your mobility as much as possible.
Patients are not permitted to have anyone accompany them to appointments, except when needed to help with care. If someone drives you to your appointment, unless we have approved the companion, they will not be permitted to wait inside; they must wait outside until your appointment is complete. We realize these restrictions may create challenges, and we are very sorry for any difficulties they may cause; however, we want to ensure we are following all necessary guidelines and keeping all of our patients and staff safe. If you are sick or not feeling well; please reschedule in office visit to when you're feeling better.
Telemedicine services are available. These virtual visits help patients and their providers connect via video or phone to receive preventative care, diagnosis and treatment plans. Please contact our office today if you need to schedule an appointment.
Anyone who has recently returned from travel should self-monitor for respiratory symptoms. If you become sick, please call the Pennsylvania Department of Health at 1.877.PA.HEALTH (724.3258).
